B: Hi, there. I wasn't even sure anyone was home, it's so quiet. A: Yeah. Mike went to Wyatt's to study. B: So how was school today? A: Did you talk to Meredith? B: I did. I'd completely forgotten that you were in that class. A: I can't drop it. I need it to graduate. B: Why should you? 1      Thank you for that. A: What did Meredith tell you? B: Well. 2      That's the most that any new teacher can expect. God knows, I have been there. 3      A: Hey, dad. Did you like Alison? What? A: Like, what did you think of her as a person? B: I like all of your friends. Why do you ask that? A: 4      She thought Ali was entitled. B: 5      A: You never spent any real time alone with her, though, did you? B: Why would I have?
Sounds like you handled that situation like an adult. She said that you and your friends were cautiously welcoming. Kids can be very cruel. I just know that mom had some issues with her. I think most of that just comes from being at an awkward age.
